Useful Information

Where can I buy breakfast and lunch on a Kruger Park full day safari

Ask your hotel or guest house if it is possible to get a packed lunch. This will be nice to have during your drive to the gate or while you are transferred to the Kruger National Park. During a full day game-drive bottled water is complimentary. You will stop for lunch and can buy meals and additional beverages (not included in daily rate).

Vehicles

Open safari vehicles are used for day safaris in Kruger Park. They ensure a perfect game-viewing experience. Feel the fresh air and hear the sounds of the animals in the open bush land around you. The jeeps are comfortable 10-seaters with space for nine guests and one guide. The recommended age for children on open safari vehicles is 6 years. For families travelling with younger children game drives can be arranged in closed, air-conditioned vehicles. Game-drives can be done in a group where you share a 4x4 with other guests or you book an exclusive vehicle.

Private day safari option for families or honeymooners

To book an exclusive vehicle is great for a family vacation in Kruger Park as you will have a more flexible schedule. Your guide will give all of his attention to you and your children and will move along in your own pace. You decide where you want to go and how much time you want to spend in the park.

Couples and honeymooners also find more privacy on an exclusive day safari. Newlyweds can enjoy their honeymoon in Kruger National Park on a private game drive to the fullest.
