Activities at Butler’s Africa Lodge include self-drives and additional guided game drives into the Kruger National Park.
This is your chance to witness all that big game that the Kruger is so well known for. Staying at Buckler’s will put you within close proximity of this wildlife paradise where you can embark on your very own self-drive adventures.
If you’d like to hang up the car keys for a bit, we can also arrange for a guided game drive where you’ll have the expert services of a tracker-guide team who know exactly where to locate the animals they know so much about.
While staying at Buckler’s Africa Lodge we can arrange a variety of activities for you to try along with your game drives. There’s Tiger Fishing for those wanting to cast in a line, horseback safaris for those wanting to saddle up, and spa treatments for those in need of a little extra pampering. We also recommend a day trip into the border post town Komatipoort if you’re tempted to try a local restaurant.
The best part about waking up at Buckler’s Africa Lodge every morning is that you don’t have to feel pressured to do something every day. You can very easily have a day to yourself, just hit the snooze button, and make a beeline for the pool with your favourite book.
As is the afternoon tradition among us South African locals, you can light up the coals and get the braai (BBQ) going while the African sun quietly slips beyond the horizon.
