Numbela can be reached in about a 3 and a half hour drive from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. The guest house is just off the R40 road between White River and Hazyview, Mpumalanga.
Numbela is surrounded by gardens and wonderful trees next to the White Waters River. The forest and countryside is perfect for mountain biking and there are many excellent well-marked routes. The surrounding environment is also superb for bird watching.

Numbela is 20km (12 miles) north of White River on the R40 Hazyview road. Travelling in this direction there is a white, oval dayglo sign clearly visible on the left. Turn left at the second oval sign and follow the signs down a dirt road for approximately 1km (less than a mile) to Numbela's gate.
