How to get there:
Directions from Johannesburg
From Johannesburg, take the N12 which joins with the N4 at Witbank. Alternatively, from Pretoria take the N4 Witbank highway. Keep on the N4 and pass Middelburg, Machadodorp and Waterval Boven. Go through Nelspruit on the N4 and follow the Komatipoort signs. After Nelspruit you will pass Kaapmuiden, Malelane and Hectorspruit.
About 14.5km (9 miles) after Hectorspruit, turn left at the Ngwenya Lodge sign (there is also a Tenbosch sign), onto a gravel road. After about 7.5km (4.66 miles) turn right at the Ngwenya Lodge sign (there is also a Krokodilbrug sign). The entrance gate is on the left after 3.5 km (2.17 miles).
By air:
There are daily flights between Johannesburg (O.R. Tambo International Airport) and Cape Town to Kruger Mpumulanga International Airport (KMIA) just outside Nelspruit. The drive time from KMIA to Ngwenya is about 60 minutes.
